Emerson’s Essay

            Emerson’s main idea is supported by his tone, diction and syntax because he was inspiring other people by telling them to believe in themselves and not try to be like other people because their not being them.             I agree with Emerson’s “self reliance.” It is true about how people try being like others. Their tone changes and also their attitude, that sometimes people don’t like it. It’s better being how you usually are and let people know how you really are.
